Hello!
I’m a writer with a love for creating humorous, joyful picture books that celebrate the playful side of life—often featuring ninjas, dragons, and even supersonic farts. Alongside writing, I work in education as a lecturer and previously taught primary school in Bangkok, giving me a strong understanding of how to nurture a love of reading in young children.
My debut picture book will be published by Macmillan in 2026, a very exciting milestone. My work has been longlisted for awards including the Cheshire Novel Prize (Top 100 Kids List) and the Write Mentor Idea Idol Awards, and in 2024 I was selected for the All-Stories Mentorship programme. I’m now represented by Julia Churchill of AM Heath.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me practising karate or browsing cosy bookshops (not at the same time!). My writing journey began at age ten, when I won my school’s Year 6 Funny Poem Prize—though the poem is still lost somewhere in my parents’ loft… along with the last person who went looking for it!
