SCHOOL VISITS AND EVENTS

I absolutely love doing school visits! There’s nothing quite like the buzz of a classroom full of curious, creative children, and as a university lecturer, I know how to keep that energy flowing!

As a picture book author, the classes I often visit are Nursery, Reception, and Key Stage 1.

These sessions are full of fun, laughter, and learning. I offer interactive readings of a selection of my books, paired with engaging activities that get children thinking, drawing, and giggling.

But it’s not just about listening … it’s about creating! I love helping children explore their own storytelling ideas. Together, we talk about what makes a great story, how to build one, and how their own imaginations can take the lead.

Whether it’s a single class or a whole-school visit, I tailor each session to suit the age group and the school’s needs. My goal is always the same: to spark joy, creativity, and a love of stories.

My in-person rates are:

£250 for a full day

£160 for a half day

£50 for a one-hour workshop/assembly session.

I live in Essex and can travel if needed.
